Caribbean Stud

The foundation of Caribbean Stud poker lies with the traditional Stud poker game, but with the additional opportunity to play against the house and win big.

NEW blind betting options are available now. Bet blind and play more hands, ask your friendly table games dealer how!

Getting started

Caribbean Stud poker is played with one standard deck of playing cards and has the added excitement of a progressive jackpot.

To join in the action, simply place your cash on the table and the dealer will exchange it for gaming chips – then you’re ready to go!

What is the objective of the game?

The object of the game is to achieve a five-card poker hand higher the dealer's. Plus, you could win an additional jackpot bonus (optional) if your hand is one of the top five poker hands. The hands in Caribbean Stud poker are the same as in draw poker.

How it Works

Firstly place a bet in the ‘ante’ box. You can also place an additional bet in the illuminated jackpot area, which makes you eligible for jackpot bonuses. After your ante bet has been placed, all players and the dealer receive five cards face down. One of the dealer’s cards is then turned over, providing a window to the house’s hand.

How do I bet?

Firstly , look at your cards without revealing them to other players or the dealer. If you think that you can beat the dealer’s hand, place your cards face down in the ‘bet’ area and make an additional wager, which must be twice the value of your ‘ante’. Place your bet on top of your cards. If you’re not confident you can beat the dealer’s hand, you may ‘fold’ by placing your cards face down next to your ante and forfeit your ante wager.

How do I win?

After all players have either folded or bet, the dealer displays the house hand. To continue (qualify), the dealer must have at least an Ace and King. If not, all ante wagers are paid at even money and all other bets are considered inactive. If you beat the dealer's qualifying hand, you will be paid even money on your ante wager and varying odds on your bet depending on your hand. If the dealer’s qualifying hand is higher than your hand, you lose both your ante and bet.

How do I win the Progressive jackpot?

The progressive jackpot bet is independent of the game, although to participate in the jackpot, you must also have placed an “ante” bet. If your hand is one of the top five poker hands, you'll win an additional amount regardless of the dealer’s hand.

Table Limits
