CHEF DE PARTIE - PRODUCTION/SUNSET RESTAURANT

We are seeking applicants for our fast paced operation. If you possess excellent organisational and supervisory skills and have experience in areas such as buffet and plate up experience for up to 1500 covers, then we would like to hear from you. Outside catering experience is a definite advantage.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE ATTENDANTS

Successful applicants will possess relevant industry experience, a strong work ethic and the commitment to exceed our guests’ expectations. Excellent presentation and grooming is essential, as is the ability to provide premier guest service. Training and development prospects are available to the successful applicants.

SUNSET RESTUARANT SUPERVISOR

Sunset Restaurant is a high volume outlet that offers both buffet and a la carte dining. Applicants must have supervisory experience in a similar role with the ability to direct, supervise, develop and coordinate staff. Superior communication and organisational skills coupled with a high level of competency in food and beverage technical skills are vital. Impeccable presentation and grooming is essential. This position is salaried with training and development prospects available to the successful applicant.

ROOM ATTENDANT

The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of hotel room areas. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential. Applicants must be able to work unsupervised, flexible hours and be physically fit.

TELEPHONIST

Applicants must have superior communication skills and impeccable phone manner. Knowledge of PABX equipment and previous experience will be highly regarded. Applicants must also have impeccable presentation and grooming. The ability to work a rotating 24 hour, 7 day a week roster is required. The ability to work unsupervised and as a member of a team is essential.

TURNDOWN ATTENDANT

The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleaning, servicing and turn-down service of hotel rooms during the evening. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential. Applicants must be able to work unsupervised, flexible hours and be physically fit.

SURVEILLANCE OPERATOR

The successful applicants will become part of the Casino Surveillance team and be responsible for maintaining close-watch surveillance on casino activity from a monitoring system, ensuring that gaming regulations and other relevant acts and regulations are adhered to. The ability to obtain a Casino Operatives licence which involves a criminal history check is required.

DEALER

If you are currently employed as a Dealer in a casino then we would like to hear from you! We have a need for experienced Dealers able to deal at least two major games. Experience in Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette is high desirable.

EVENTS STAFF
(Chefs, Cooks, Stewards, Bar & Service Staff)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic applicants to be part of our exciting events team during the busy Dry Season. Experience is not essential as all suitable applicants will be trained on site to SKYCITY Darwin standards and will be utilised at all of our premier events, such as Shell V8 Supercars, Darwin Turf Club Gala Ball and major concerts on the Casino lawns. Excellent presentation and grooming is essential, as is a positive approach and a keen eye for detail. Further employment following the events is a possibility depending on your performance.
