In conjunction with the State Government of South Australia, Adelaide City Council and other Riverbank stakeholders, including the Hyatt Regency Adelaide, Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Festival Centre and TransAdelaide, SKYCITY Adelaide is working to develop and market this exciting precinct making the most of the beautiful River Torrens. Recent Riverbank projects include the construction of the Riverbank Promenade, redevelopment of the Adelaide Festival Centre and development of the Torrens Lake Walk. A new pedestrian bridge, linking SKYCITY Adelaide with the Adelaide Festival Centre, has also been built and a regular program of Riverbank events, including the Adelaide Long Dinner, has been established. We believe there are exciting synergies between SKYCITY Adelaide and the development of the Riverbank precinct. When finished, it will provide both residents and visitors to Adelaide with an integrated arts, leisure and entertainment destination along the banks of the stunning River Torrens.
