How To Play Baccarat An internationally famous card game, Baccarat is easy to learn and fun to play. The object of the game is to anticipate which hand will win ... either 'Player', 'Banker' or 'Tie'. Hand values range from 0-9 as picture cards and 10s count as 0. eg: - 7 + 3 = 0
- 10 + 4 = 4
- 10 + 10 = 0
The hand with the greatest value wins. How do I play? - 'Player', 'Banker' and 'Tie' bet are the three possible bets to wager. Bets are made by placing your wager in the appropriately marked area.
- The Dealer will call "No more bets" and proceed to deal the cards to a set table of play (refer to Table of Play).
- Any winning 'Player' bets are paid even money. Any winning 'Banker' bets are paid even money, with the exception that when the Banker wins with a total of 6 then the bets are paid at odds of 1 to 2 (half).
Table of Play The Table shown below applies after the first four cards (two to the Player, two to the Banker) have been dealt. If the result is a tie, neither 'Player' bets nor 'Banker' bets win or lose for that round. Patrons may alter their bets prior to next round of play commencing. - There are no Optional Draws, both player and banker must draw according to this Table.
- Banker must stand (rest or sit) having 6 when player has 6 or 7 on initial deal.
- Banker draws on either 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 when player stands on 6 or 7 on the initial deal.
- Pictures and tens count 0.
- A 'Tie' hand is declared when the player and the banker have equal totals.
