World Series of Poker - June 2007After 12 long weeks of gruelling satellites and 2 days of intense heats, our WSOP Champs final took place on Monday 4th June where the challengers faced off for the glory of flying to Vegas and playing in the World Series of Poker. The poker was fierce as always!
Congratulations to Robert Wang on winning this event and the trip to Vegas. Also, a big congratulations and well done to everyone who played in this event. Thank you for making it such an exciting and nail biting tournament! Due to the level of interest and the size of the prize pool SKYCITY ended up sending two of its best locals to play in one of Pokers most prestigious events. As well as the WSOP entries we gave away 4 seats on Mike King's WSOP tour package, so the two winners had a few Kiwi's there supporting them through this exciting event.
