We are recognised for our contribution by industry peers through the NZ Tourism awards we have won.
- SKYCITY Auckland's Food & beverage team picked up a total of 44 medals at the 11th annual NZ Culinary Fair in September 2003
- Orbit Restaurant was voted the best fine dining restaurant in Auckland in the 2002/2003 Entertainment Book Gold Awards
- SKYCITY restaurants, Orbit and Tamarind, were awarded the NZ Beef and Lamb Hallmark of Excellence Award in 2003
- SKYCITY Auckland Security Officer, Taua Iaone won the title of Security Officer of the Year at the NZ Security Association symposium in June 2003
- SKYCITY's customer loyalty programme Action picked up five awards at the NZ Direct Marketing Awards in February 2003 including special honours for 'Best Use of a Database'
- Sky Tower was voted best visitor attraction in Metro 'Best of Auckland Awards' in 2002
- In November 2002, the Action loyalty programme was recognised internationally as a top customer loyalty programme when it was named the only non-American award winner at the 2002 US National Centre for Database Marketing (NCDM) Awards for Database Excellence
- The 2002 SKYCITY Starlight Symphony event won The Judges' Distinction Award - one of three major prizes at the NBR Arts Awards for Sponsorship of the Arts - recognising it as "a successful large scale, public event that brings music to the entire community."
- SKYCITY won an ORCA (Outstanding Radio Creative Award) award in November 2002 for the Kidz First ‘Cold water’ burns treatment radio advertisement
- In 2001 in the Deloitte Management Magazine awards SKYCITY was named Company of the Year.
