General Information





PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Get onboard one of the special bus and train services from your area or catch the shuttle from Britomart. Buses and shuttles stop at Kiosk Road/ The Crescent in the Domain. For more information on buses, ferries and trains, call MAXX on 366 6400 or visit http://www.maxx.co.nz/

Charter Buses bringing groups to the event should park in Titoki Street.

PARKING

There will be no parking in the Domain. If you park on the grass verges you may be ticketed. Concert- goers are advised to park away from the Domain perimeter to avoid congestion.

FOR THE DISABLED

An area in front of the stage will be set aside for people with disabilities to view the concert. Able- bodied drivers are asked to drop off disabled passengers and then park away from the Domain. If the driver of the car is disabled, limited car parking will be available in the Medical School car park opposite the Park Road entrance to the Domain and on Carlton Gore Road between George Street and Davis Crescent.

AUCKLAND HOSPITAL

Concert-goers are requested to remain clear of Auckland Hospital grounds and facilities on the night.

RUBBISH

Please refrain from bringing glass onto the park. You will once again have the opportunity to recycle rubbish so please use the appropriate bins.

SEATING

A rug is the best, but if bringing seating please only low 'sand-chairs' so as not to interfere with others viewing.

LIQUOR BAN AREA

A liquor ban will be in operation for a defined area around the Museum only – please see map below.

POSTPONEMENT

Auckland’s favourite outdoor event, SKYCITY Starlight Symphony is all set to go ahead tonight (24th February).
