SKYCITY Starlight Symphony Each summer over 200,000 people gather at the Auckland Domain to see some of New Zealand's finest musical talent perform at the SKYCITY Starlight Symphony. SKYCITY is proud to announce that it will once again be bringing the spectacular free public event – SKYCITY Starlight Symphony - to the Auckland Domain on Sunday February 24, 2008.

THE EVENT The SKYCITY Starlight Symphony is a significant community event made possible by SKYCITY's support. The 2008 event will be supported by the SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust. In celebration of the tenth year anniversary of SKYCITY’s major sponsorship, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa will be appearing for a special performance at the show. Dame Kiri is one of opera's most celebrated contemporary figures and this will be her first performance in the Auckland Domain since 1996. The event will be an unforgettable summer evening with incredible music and entertainment from Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Will Martin, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, SKYCITY massed choir and talented instrumentalists. As in previous years the night will culminate in an impressive display of lasers and fireworks.
