Did You Know?
- Over 2,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in New Zealand each year.
- One man in 10 will have a mother, wife, sister or daughter die of breast cancer in New Zealand.
The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation aims to educate all New Zealand women about breast cancer and the importance of early detection while working towards the goal of complete control of the disease.
Since 2000, SKYCITY Auckland has been proud to sponsor and support the Foundation in its endeavours.
Each year NZBCF and SKYCITY host the In the Pink Fashion Show and the Global Illumination Campaign for breast cancer awareness. In February 2004, SKYCITY also nominated NZBCF the recipient charity of funds raised at the SKYCITY Starlight Symphony.
