Junior K'Nexpert Winner

Intermediate K'Nexpert Winner

Charlie Coleman - Beachlands, Auckland

Samuel Smith - Whenuapai, Auckland

Scotty's comments: Charlie’s use of everyday materials and also adding in my own face at the top of the Tower showed great talent. Scotty’s comments: An amazing Sky Tower replica which even included trees and surrounding buildings like One Stop Shop and the Fire Service.

Senior K'Nexpert Winner

Special Award

Edward Stevenson - Epsom, Auckland

Noah Irving - Mt Wellington, Auckland

Scotty’s comments: A very detailed Sky Tower model, accurately depicting all of the different sections of the tower using different sized cardboard and clever use of dowel to build the legs of the Sky Tower - the only entrant to do so.

Each of the three K’Nexperts wins $500 worth of K’Nex product.

Scotty’s comments: Unfortunately Noah’s Sky Tower model was outside the 60cm height restriction rule.
Nevertheless, the 6 foot tall model deserves special mention as it was extremely detailed, built entirely out of K’Nex and included a Sky Jump platform and jumper, as well as a working elevator - a fantastic effort.
Noah wins a special prize pack of goodies courtesy of Scotty Sky Tower.
