The SKYCITY artwork programme is an integral part of our commitment to the development and operation of an entertainment business that while intrinsically New Zealand, offers an experience of international quality.
The commissioned artwork represents different aspects of New Zealand’s heritage. Many draw on Maori legends and traditions in their story telling and take us back through history to when New Zealand was first settled.
Others represent modern day New Zealand and the different choices and activities we pursue in our lives today.
SKYCITY’s substantial collection is a tribute to the talent of New Zealand’s art community and the high standard of work that is being produced for all of us to enjoy.
