The Secret Life of Cards
The world of the work is a magical area between a recognisable world and a unique fantastic parallel universe creating a new belief system.
The visual field is an alternative reality recreating the life of the ‘card’. The imagery utilises major decoration and symbolic motifs from a card deck to create smaller universes within a larger universe. All our minds can create a removed reality where sometimes we do not know whether we are pretending or the truth is being told.
