Commi Chef
This is our entry level role for those individuals that have gained a recognised Cooking qualification. You will have fantastic presentation skills with an eye for detail and be prepared to learn from the skills and experience of our more senior Chef team.

Demi Chef
The next step - you will have two years kitchen experience in addition to your Cooking qualification. You will have a sound understanding of a kitchen structure and operation and be able to work autonomously.

Chef de Partie
You will have made an informed decision about Chefing as a personal career and will be ready to undertake this supervisory level role. You will be qualified and have a minimum of 3 years kitchen experience and be committed to leading, motivating and guiding a team to success. Your culinary understanding and style will allow you to create and influence an exemplary food offering.

SKYCITY also offers a 3 year apprenticeship programme (for NZ citizens and residents only). The Apprenticeship programme is advertised on www.seek.co.nz/SKYCITY in November each year to begin training the following January.
