Casino Training School

What we are looking for

SKYCITY Darwin will be training new Blackjack Dealers in our 2009 Training Program. If you are customer service oriented; if you have energy and stamina and you love the nightlife, you're ready to learn to become a Dealer!

Selection into the school is based on our assessment of your mathematical ability and customer service focus. Successful applicants must have impeccable presentation and grooming.

Considerations

Here are some things you should consider before applying for a place in our Dealer Program:

• The training is at no cost to you, but it is unpaid
• The training is full time - 40 hrs a week for four weeks which may involve shift work
• Applicants must be over 18 and permanent residents of Australia
• The first game to be taught will be Blackjack
• All trainees will be required to obtain a Trainee Dealers Licence - this requires a criminal history check.

Where you can go after graduation

Successful graduates will become eligible for full-time Dealer positions on our main gaming floor.

There will be an opportunity to further your career and remuneration with the addition of learning Roulette and Baccarat games.
