Judith Allen is the face of NT Keno's latest advertising campaign, urging people to get down to their nearest NT Keno outlet for the chance to win the biggest-ever 10 Spot Jackpot of $1.932 million.
NT Keno Manager, Vanessa O’Grady, is buzzing with excitement about the potential for one lucky NT Keno winner. "This is huge!" she says. "If you’ve ever dreamed of winning big, then this is your chance to go for it!"
Filmed and produced by Simon Says Television, the current advertising campaign featuring Judith aims to deliver an action-packed ad that makes the impossible seem possible.
SKYCITY Marketing Manager Mark Neebling says Judith was picked for her outgoing personality and level of fitness. "She has a zest for life and adventure and wasn’t afraid to give anything a go," says Mark. "Some people will go to any length to be in to win and who better to take the challenge than a Granny?"
The ad sees Judith roaring through the outback on a motorbike and jumping into a croc-infested lagoon as she tries to beat her son down to the local NT Keno outlet for her chance to win $1.932 million.
Born Performer
A self-confessed showoff and regular performer with the Grey Panthers singing and dancing group, Judith says she was thrilled to be approached for the shoot.
"I have been performing with the Grey Panthers for a number of years, but have never done anything like this," she says. "We had lots of fun while filming although I wasn’t so keen on the grey wig I had to wear, which made me look a lot older!"
At one stage during the filming, 66 year-old Judith had to dive into the water with her handbag, which unexpectedly filled with water making her have to work a bit harder to get across the dam.
"I’m a strong swimmer but I was a little tired after that effort, but pleased that I didn’t come across any crocs!"
