Smoking at SKYCITY

From 10 December 2004, amendments to the Smokefree Environments Amendment Act 2003 came into force. From this date, smoking was banned in all indoor spaces in New Zealand hospitality venues.

On 10 December 2004, indoor areas of every hospitality venue in New Zealand became smokefree. That meant people were no longer able to smoke inside places such as bars, gaming venues, clubs and restaurants.

At SKYCITY Hamilton, our bar, restaurant and gaming floor are smokefree. The Riverside Entertainment Centre and carpark are also included.
