LEVELS 1-4
There are over 48 volcanoes in Auckland. Many of the larger volcanic cones can be seen from the Main Observation level of the Sky Tower.
The Volcanoes Units (Levels 1-4) allow students to investigate and take a closer look at Auckland volcanoes.
Students will be able to identify and describe different Auckland volcanoes, understand how and why volcanoes erupt and apply knowledge gained from completing simple scientific experiments using household materials.
