Smoking at SKYCITY

From 10 December 2004, amendments to the Smokefree Environments Amendment Act 2003 come into force. From this date, smoking will be banned in all indoor spaces in New Zealand hospitality venues.

As of 10 December 2004 amendments were made to the Smokefree Environments Amendment Act 2003.  As a result smoking has been banned in all indoor spaces in New Zealand Hospitality venues.  This means people no longer are able to smoke inside places such as bars, gaming venues, clubs and restaurants.

At SKYCITY Auckland, all our bars and gaming venues are smokefree, this includes car parks.

Guest rooms within the SKYCITY Hotel and the SKYCITY Grand Hotel are not affected by this legislation, however rooms are available that are smokefree.
