SKYCITY AUCKLAND INTRODUCES SENIOR BARTENDERS AND SIGNATURE DRINKS
All Senior Bartenders will be heavily involved with team recruitment, coaching and performance management of each of their respective teams.
David Green, Casino Food and Beverage Manager, said: “The appointments have been made in order that a consistently high standard of service is delivered throughout the casino, thus enhancing the customer experience.
“This is the beginning of a redevelopment phase we are implementing that includes a rebranding strategy that will take place throughout the gaming floors and bar areas. Offering our new signature cocktails, is a fantastic way to celebrate these new appointments and the creativity of our staff.”
Play Bar
A long-serving member of the SKYCITY team, Nathan Monk heads the Play bar at SKYCITY Auckland following his promotion from bartender.
Baccarat Bar
Meng Long Hua is the new Senior Bartender for the Baccarat Bar, returning to SKYCITY Auckland following his tenure at the Westin Hotel. Expect Meng Long to serve the Kiss of the Dragon ($16.50), a fruity cocktail that combines Hennessy and Dissarano with fresh red grapes and zesty limes, served shaken and strained over ice in tall glass.
Aces Bar
Make a visit to Aces bar and be welcomed by Hakan Dinc, who joins SKYCITY Auckland from Turkey, and sample the Chocolate Ace ($14.50). A smooth medley of Baileys, Tia Maria, Kahlua and Crème de Cacao dark that when blended with fresh cream and Hersheys chocolate hearts is truly sumptuous.
Bar 3
The Thomas Skyring-designed Bar3 plays host to an award-winning Mojito ($14.50) made with freshly picked mint, Havana Blanco rum and fresh Californian limes with a splash of soda. As well as the classic Mojito, four other flavours are available; Lychee Mojito, Raspberry Mojito, Passion Mojito and the Mojito Royal.
