Oktoberfest 2014

Oktoberfest returns to SKYCITY Darwin from the 16^th – 19^th October.

Be a part of the celebration as the Beachside Pavilion transforms into a Bavarian Beer Hall complete with traditional German food, yodelling, shoe slapping and a Bavarian Band.

Raise your stein and declare prost with beers flown in from Germany to mark the occasion.

An estimated 2500 people will attend the Oktoberfest 2014 4 day event and are estimated to consume 5000 sausages, a dozen kilos of saukeraut and 60 kegs of German beer.

For the competitive, see how well you hold your beer in the strong arm beer stein competition, held each night with merchandise and vouchers to be won.

Come dressed in your best German costume and you could be crowned Mr or Miss Oktoberfest with winners announced on Friday and Saturday night.

Entry is free, doors open 5pm from Thursday – Saturday and 12 midday on Sunday.

For the complete Oktoberfest experience, purchase a $55 Bretzel package which includes a Bavarian tasting plate, bretzel, dessert, souvenir half stein full of Oktoberfest beer, a half stein refill and a Jager.
